Chuck Schneebeck is retired from working as a teacher and administrator in higher education.  He taught biology at Fullerton College for fifteen years, and was Director of Academic Computing Services at Fullerton College and at California State University, Long Beach.  He ended his career as Director of Academic Computing Initiatives for the Office of the Chancellor of the California State University System.

For the past forty-seven years Chuck has been involved in mountain climbing and other outdoor adventures.  He has climbed all of the 14 thousand foot peaks in Colorado (54).  He has also climbed most of the major peaks in the Tetons, has spent considerable time in the Wind River Range, and has climbed in other western states and Alaska.  Other adventures include extended wilderness canoeing in Canada.  Even though he is old enough to be retired, Chuck continues to climb mountains (but not as fast as he used to) and ski, including backcountry, cross-country and downhill.

Chuck loves to spend time with Buster, and whenever possible, Buster is a companion for climbing, skiing and hiking.

In California Chuck was an assistant for dog obedience classes.  Since moving to Jackson, WY, he has had the support of the members of the Wyoming K9 Search and Rescue group in training Buster.  They have been extremely generous with their time and guidance.
